Kickoff Webinar Jan. 10 with the 2023 All Iowa Reads Authors
Join us for a special webinar on Jan. 10 to kick off the 2023 All Iowa Reads program featuring the three authors of the 2023 All Iowa Reads selections! Get insight from the authors themselves to help prepare you to lead book discussion groups at your library this year and have the chance to ask authors questions about their books, inspiration, writing process, and more.
The authors include:
- Sequoia Nagamatsu, author of the 2023 All Iowa Reads title How High We Go in the Dark: A Novel
- Angeline Boulley, author of the 2023 Teen All Iowa Reads title Firekeeper’s Daughter
- Niki Smith, author of the 2023 Kids All Iowa Reads title The Golden Hour

Explore the 2023 All Iowa Reads Shortlists
We’re hosting another All Iowa Reads webinar on Feb. 22 to introduce you to the 2023 All Iowa Reads shortlists. You'll hear booktalks and read-alike selections for the short-listed books on the adult list from Leslie Heinzler and Jill Martinez, Co-Chairs of the Adult Selection Committee. Janeé Jackson-Doering, State Library Youth Services Consultant, will share for the kids and teen lists. Attendees will hear ideas for spotlighting these titles and the All Iowa Reads finalists in your library.
