Youth Services

The goal of the State Library's Youth Services program is to help library staff provide the best possible service to Iowa's youth, families, and the people who serve youth. Youth is defined as patrons ages 0-18, but youth services encompasses all the work library staff does to connect with families, caregivers, and community supporters.

The State Library's Youth Services strives to support library staff in being effective, dynamic, engaging members of their libraries and their communities by connecting them with the resources and training they need to thrive.
