Job Summary
Kutak Rock is seeking a Records Management Assistant for its Omaha office. This position assists with the firm-wide management of paper-based information and will assist with the effective and appropriate management of the firm’s records. Files will be managed from the point of creation until their disposal, in compliance with the firm’s document retention policies, using the firm’s records management system.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Retrieve documents and/or files as requested or needed
  • Prepare, track, and coordinate destruction notices for legacy files
  • Assist in record review/destruction follow-up activities
  • Heavy usage of databases to enter information for active and closed files
  • Assign closed dates according to document retention policy

QUALIFICATIONS: Skills & Abilities

  • High degree of accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • High degree of organizational skills
  • Ability to problem solve

QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience

  •  High school diploma or GED required
  • One to three years of related work experience

Position Information
Salary Range: $37,000 - $46,000 or hourly equivalent ($18.00-$22.00 per hour) for part time
Position Status: Non-Exempt
Workplace Type: Hybrid (4-1)
