Changes to the FY22 Annual Survey


This document shows the changes from the FY21 annual survey and notes for the FY22 survey. The COVID-19 related questions are located in sections G, H, and I. There have been a lot of changes this year in Section G - Programming.
 

Section A:

No changes this year

NOTES:

Lines A01 to A10 are prefilled for the library based on answers from the FY21 survey. Lines A11 and A12 are prefilled based on the 2020 decennial Census - we do not use estimates. If any of the prefilled data is incorrect contact Scott Dermont at the State Library. scott.dermont@iowa.gov

  • D35    Bridges magazine expenditures - this amount will be $0 for FY22. The State Library fully paid for this resource in FY22.

Section F:


We moved several non-programming related questions from Section G to section F. They are now numbered F37 to F50. None of these questions are new to the survey.

  • F17    Use of Bridges downloadable audio recordings.
  • F20    Bridges electronic serials - including use of Advantage titles.

  • F33    ILL provided to other libraries using the SILO ILL service.
  • F44    Number of wireless sessions annually for libraries subscribing to the statewide WhoFi service.
  • F48    Website visits for libraries with PLOW websites.
     

Section G:

Lines Added:

Section G is brand new. We have added some new age categories and program locations. We are also adding a new section to account for Patron Directed Act ivies (passive or indirect programming).

Lines Removed:

All non-programming related question (G29 to G42) were moved to section F and were renumbered to (F37 to F40). None of these questions were changed or removed from the survey.
