    Learn more about the Iowa Library for the Blind and Print Disabled. Including information about patron eligibility, programs, services and resources for patrons and libraries.
     
  • February 10 | Universal Design and Libraries
    In collaboration with the Iowa Library for the Blind and Print Disabled, this webinar will provide information about Universal Design in Learning (UDL) and how it can be used by libraries to ensure accessibility. UDL is a way of using a variety of strategies to create resources and setting up physical spaces to reach all individuals. The webinar will go over the basics of UDL as well as some real-world examples of how you can use UDL on your libraries.

  • March 10 | Etiquette: Providing Customer Services to Individuals Who are Blind
    In collaboration with the Iowa Library for the Blind and Print Disabled, the staff from the Iowa Department for the Blind will provide general etiquette examples and useful customer service tips for serving individuals who are blind.
     
  • April 14 | Youth Programming and Accessible STEM
    In collaboration with the Iowa Library for the Blind and Print Disabled, this webinar will provide information and examples of accessible youth programming, including story time, crafts and activities for youth and families.
